Shannon & Associates just received a big honor: We’ve been named one of the best accounting firms to work for in the entire nation! This annual survey and awards program, administered by Accounting Today and Best Companies Group, identifies, recognizes, and honors the best employers in the accounting profession across the country. We were listed as the 26th Best Small Firm to Work For.
This is no surprise to Partner and CEO, Julie Courtney, who credits staff for the award.

Honorees are determined using a two-part survey process. The combined scores decided the top companies and their final ranking.
For the first part, worth about 25% of the total evaluation, the workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics were evaluated for each company. Employee experience surveys made up 75% of the assessment.
